Samsung has unveiled the security update information for June 2026, addressing 45 vulnerabilities in Android, One UI, and Exynos chips to enhance the security of their devices. The update is expected to roll out for various models in the upcoming weeks.

The June security patch addressed five critical and 28 high-severity issues on Android, as well as a vulnerability in semiconductors impacting various Exynos chip models including Exynos 1280, 2200, 1380, 1480, 2400, 1580, 2500, 1680, and 2600.
Samsung addressed 11 security issues in One UI and system applications, including a flaw related to improper authorization in AppBlock that could enable unauthorized actions.
The company addressed a telephony service issue that enabled unauthorized access to confidential information by fixing privilege assignment errors. There was also a concern with “SpriteWallpaper” due to the incorrect export of application components potentially granting access to sensitive data.
The June security update addresses a vulnerability in “SecTelephonyProvider” that could reveal sensitive files and another in “Galaxy Editing Service” that enabled unauthorized individuals to carry out privileged actions.
Availability of goods or services
Samsung has not yet announced the release date for the June security patch. However, it is anticipated to be available soon, potentially within the next few days. The current update has been released for the Galaxy S26 series but only in the beta version of One UI 9.
