Galaxy A08 moves closer to its release following new certification.

Samsung is getting ready to launch multiple products in the latter part of 2026, with the Galaxy A08 likely to be among them. Evidence of this is the device passing the Wi-Fi Alliance certification, signaling progress in the certification process. This development follows the device’s listing in the GSMA database a few months earlier.

The Galaxy A08 with model number SM-A085F/DS is nearing release as indicated by certification details. The certification only confirms Wi-Fi support without disclosing further specifications.

Samsung is evidently getting the device ready for release, suggesting that they are sticking to their annual schedule to unveil the successor to the Galaxy A07 around the same time as last year.

Samsung remains quiet.

Samsung has not yet announced details about the Galaxy A08, but the previous model, the Galaxy A07, can give an idea of what to expect in terms of specifications.

The model includes a 50 MP main camera, 8 MP front sensor, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25 W charging. The Galaxy A08 is anticipated to have increased battery capacity, a slightly improved processor, better screen quality, and a 50 MP camera.
