Samsung TV can now access and display Reels content from Instagram.
Instagram has introduced a new feature for Samsung Smart TVs in the US, which enables users to view Reels, Stories, and other content on their television screens.
Instagram is becoming more prominent on television.
Owners of Samsung Smart TVs released in the United States starting in 2020 can now access Instagram directly on their TVs. The Instagram creators have adapted the platform to the larger screen format, offering users access to Reels and channels categorized by interests. This feature will soon be available in more regions.
Viewing Stories on TV is now easier, allowing you to follow temporary posts without having to share a smartphone screen. Instagram has also enhanced the visibility of horizontal videos on its interface.

Meta also provides the option to stream Reels from a mobile device to a TV on supported devices. This functionality is currently operational on platforms such as Google TV and Fire TV. Nevertheless, the new feature is anticipated to be gradually rolled out to Samsung TVs in the upcoming weeks or months.
Fighting on YouTube
Meta is considering expanding its offerings to include longer content similar to YouTube, providing users with more ways to watch videos beyond just their smartphones.
