Samsung started sharing details about the Galaxy Z Fold8, the upcoming model with a larger screen, following numerous leaks and speculation. The South Korean company released six teasers on social media, providing initial insights into the new foldable device without explicitly naming it.

Expectations for the Galaxy Z Fold8
The Galaxy Z Fold8 will feature a 7.6-inch primary screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio, and a 5.5-inch external display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, both utilizing Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology and a variable refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor is integrated in the Galaxy, which comes with either 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and storage choices of 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB.
The Z Fold8’s camera section includes a 50 MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 50 MP ultrawide sensor with f/1.9 aperture, and a total of 10 MP for the selfie lenses on both the external and internal screens.
The device features a 4,800 mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. It is said to have dimensions of 123.9 x 81.9 x 9.7 mm when closed and 123.9 x 161.4 x 4.5 mm when open, weighing just 201 grams, making it the lightest model in the Z Fold line so far.
Galaxy Z Fold8 is available in a variety of colors.
The Z Fold8 may be available in four colors – lavender, cream, pistachio, and graphite – with the possibility of more choices being offered later.
The launch will take place this month.
