Logitech G recently launched the G512 X gaming keyboard in Brazil, featuring a unique combination of mechanical and analog switches. It comes in two versions: 75% for a compact design and 98% with a numeric keypad in a more space-efficient layout.

What does the Logitech G512 X provide?

The primary feature of the G512 X is its utilization of TMR sensors that can detect various pressure levels on individual keys.

You can customize the drive point from 0.1 mm to 4 mm to suit different needs, providing fast responses for competitive gaming or more depth to prevent accidental touches.

SAPP technology, a new feature, enables the assignment of two functions to a single key based on the applied pressure intensity. This innovation broadens customization options by triggering different commands. Logitech also provides tactile rings to assist players in identifying the secondary actuation point during gameplay.

The G512 X introduces Dual Swap technology, which enables users to mix analog and mechanical switches on the keyboard. This feature allows users to customize which keys have analog functionality and which ones use traditional mechanical switches, catering to their individual gaming preferences.

The new Dual Dials are a standout feature, offering two programmable physical selectors on the keyboard that can be customized to handle various functions using Logitech software.

Logitech has included True 8K technology in the G512 X to cater to the competitive audience, providing a response time of just 0.125 milliseconds to minimize the delay between key input and command registration on the computer.

The keyboard utilizes a Gasket Mount structure with silicone, offering a gentler typing experience, minimizing vibrations, and reducing key noise.

The keycaps are made of PBT DoubleShot, a material recognized for its durability and ability to maintain the texture and transparency of LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting over time.
